After School centres

Flame has four After-School Programs, in Phnom Penh: Sen Sok, Stung Meanchey, Boeung Trabek and Bong Tompon. Since government school is only for a half day the center provides study help and extra tuition for the children.

Classes are given in Maths, English, Computing, Khmer (Cambodian language). This helps the children excel at school. It is invaluable to give extra tuition to children who may have missed years due to poverty, helping them to catch up to their peers.

Health and basic hygiene are also taught at the centres, with each child having their own toothbrush and mug to use each day.

Flame also makes sure no child leaves the after-school centre without having something to eat. We provide them a meal and a drink.
